Votary, a British brand, was founded by Arabella Preston and Charlotte Semler. Arabella is a former beauty editor and a makeup artist (whose clients include Kate Middleton & Stella McCartney), who used to blend pure plant oils for years for both herself & her clients. On a lunch with friends, when entrepreneur, friend & former boss Charlotte realized that Arabella blended her own oils to cleanse and moisturize her skin as well as her clients’ skin, she decided to team up with her to bring these gorgeous plant oil based formulations to the world. And so Votary was born.
