The actual box that the Boxwalla goodies come in, is carefully crafted from tree-free handmade paper. The paper is made from cotton scraps, using a traditional, time consuming art of paper-making that involves 9 steps and takes several weeks. The whole process is completely free of child labour.

We started Boxwalla in the U.S. to help collect and spread these stories of beautiful things and the people who make them. And we are very excited to now be coming to India, where our own stories began.
